The growth of the Gruppo Florence continues, announcing the entry of the first two companies active in the footwear sector, Calzaturificio Lorenza and Calzaturificio Novarese, in addition to Officina Ciemmeci, a company specializing in leather and fabric processing such as screen printing, washing and printing. The founders of the three companies, similarly to the other families of entrepreneurs who have already joined the Gruppo Florence project, acquire a minority stake in the group which is controlled for about 65% by the consortium led by VAM Investments, the Italian Investment Fund ( through the Italian Consolidation and Growth Fund – FICC) and Italmobiliare.
Francesco Trapani, President of Gruppo Florence he declared: “With an investment that started less than two years ago, we are very pleased to have attracted the interest of numerous entrepreneurs in the supply chain and aggregated so many Made in Italy excellences. The positive reaction of the large luxury groups is demonstrating that our idea of offering the opportunity for a more structured relationship was a requirement of the sector.”
Attila Kiss, CEO of the Gruppo Florence commented: “… The Florence Group’s goal is in fact to offer luxury brands the most innovative Made in Italy excellences gathered in an industrial platform, active in all product categories that make up an entire high fashion collection and therefore the transition to footwear is crucial for our project.”

Lorenza Shoe factory, founded in Filetto (Chieti) by Vincent Cicolini e Pina Caramanico in 1996, is a company specializing in the production of informal shoes in the world of luxury. The company closed 2021 with a turnover of 23 million euros and today records growth with over 230 pairs of shoes per year. The 3000 square meter factory houses over 70 employees and the divisions ranging from modeling and prototyping, to production, which goes from assembly to finishing, up to quality control, packaging and shipping.”
Novarese, in the third generation with the family Gismondi, collaborates today with the main luxury brands worldwide. The company now has two production facilities in the province of Macerata, the main office of 6.000 square meters and the Bison upper factory with a total staff of about 220 people in addition to the network of external collaborators selected in the area. The company is also at the forefront in terms of sustainability, producing a large part of the energy used in production activities “at home”.
Officina Ciemmeci , a young company founded in 2015 by the experience of the founders of Ciemmeci Fashion (already part of Gruppo Florence since November 2020), offers brands highly innovative solutions that stand out for their creativity and technological know-how. Thanks to the support of an internal research and development team, it offers a wide range of processes.With forty employees, including artisans, technicians and creatives, the company led by Vinicio Capezzuoli with the general management of Marcello Boschi closed 2021 with a turnover of over 5 million euros.
