Thanks to this heritage, our work embodies the essence of “Valore Italia” for the preservation and promotion of our country’s cultural influence in the world of contemporary luxury.

We strive to elevate the unique manual skill set and competence behind craftsmanship, engaging people through courses and reskilling.

We aspire to attract talent to educate people about the authentic DNA of Italian luxury fashion.

We want to give back to families the belief that the manufacturing sector can be a source of pride and success.

INTENSIVE COURSES

Attentive to the needs of the labor market and committed to elevating the role of the manufacturing sector within the Italian production landscape, Gruppo Florence is promoting an innovative educational path to train new professionals in the field of tailoring.
With this project, Gruppo Florence aims to further enhance the excellence of Italian savoir-faire, creating opportunities for a new generation of professionals: intensive courses, lasting three to six months, are created to provide training for those who are unemployed or seeking their first job. The goal is to provide participants with the skills needed to pursue a career in the fashion world, preparing specialized professionals in roles such as dressmaker, prototypist and patternmaker.

GROWING TALENTS

The project aims to help students understand the significance of the fashion and luxury industries, offering them a dual apprenticeship pathway that allows them to graduate and easily enter into laboratories’ career pathways.
Throughout the three-year program, students study both traditional subjects and technical courses relevant to their career pathway while receiving on-the-job training and working in laboratories, earning a salary for the hours they actually work. The project also aims to secure employment positions for students upon graduation, nurturing them as the next generation of skilled professionals within the industry.

SKILL ATELIER

Gruppo Florence has established internal upskilling projects in its various laboratories to improve the skills and knowledge of its employees. The programs cover leadership development, technical and communication skills, and digital transformation, delivered through online training, classroom sessions, workshops, seminars, and conferences. These programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each laboratory and department, aimed at improving the competencies of employees individually and as a team.
