The second episode of Le Mani della Moda, created by students from the Polimoda school of higher education, travels through Puglia, Marche and Tuscany to tell five new stories of laboratories and the master craftspeople that brings them to life.

The narrative, blending cinematic footage and photographic portraits, highlights not only the precision of the gesture but also the strength of human relationships: generations meeting, traditions being renewed, emotions becoming shared heritage. A choral journey that captures the vitality of Made in Italy as a living heritage in constant transformation.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES WITH THE THIRD EPISODE

The third episode of Le Mani della Moda takes shape in Paris, in collaboration with LISAA, the French Grande École of higher education. The episode is created by students from the LISAA Fashion and LISAA Graphic Design & Communication schools.

The docufilm, included in the official cultural events calendar of Milan Fashion Week Women’s SS27, will be screened free of charge during fashion week, from September 23 to 27, 2026, at Anteo Palazzo del Cinema in Milan.

Gruppo Florence believes that true luxury comes from people, their stories, and the traditions handed down from generation to generation.

To celebrate this magic, Gruppo Florence launched a competition and awarded a scholarship to Polimoda, the Italian higher education institute that won the competition for the creation of the second episode of Le Mani della Moda: the documentary film that reveals the hidden side of luxury in Italy, giving voice to the stories of some of the Group’s 37 workshops.

THE FIRST PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECT

The first project of 2024’s Le Mani della Moda: the journey along the Hidden Italy of global luxury was born from the union of emerging talents from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and consists of two parts: the docufilm and the photographic project. The campaign celebrates the professionals working behind the scenes of this fascinating industry and aims to inspire young talents to discover not only the glamorous side of fashion, but also the work, craftsmanship and research behind each creation. The photographic project includes a series of portraits of Gruppo Florence employees who honour craftsmanship and keep alive the authentic value of Made in Italy.

The master craftspeople say: “We are custodians of the Italian manufacturing tradition, we make your garments with our hands”.

THE SECOND PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECT

In 2025, the Le Mani della Moda project will be enriched with a photo shoot that has immortalised over one hundred people. The shots, taken by Polimoda students, tell the story of the people who work behind the scenes of luxury every day, true ambassadors of Made in Italy. Their faces are the protagonists of a social media campaign designed to promote the craftsmen who transform the dream of high fashion into reality and to make fashion professions increasingly well-known and desirable.

Success is based on the economic, tangible, and measurable value of industrial, financial, and human capital, but also on added value, an intangible asset linked to the care and passion of our workforce as indicators of sustainability and resilience, which guarantee the Group’s consistency and reliability.

It is from this vision that the idea of telling the stories of life and passion that have made luxury possible, through Made In Italy around the world, began.
